Not every client is a good fit and that's okay! But let's find out at the start. To help that along, here are 7 reasons you might want to pass working with me:
1. You don’t like to laugh, dream, or change. Let’s start with the big one. If you think work should always be serious, that big ideas are impractical, or that change is something to avoid, we’re probably not a fit. I believe in progress, joy, and the occasional well-timed sarcasm. 2. You don’t like people or believe you have a role in their well-being. If leadership, to you, is just about business outcomes and not the humans driving them, we’re not going to see eye to eye. People are the business. 3. You’re tied to doing things the “right” way or the way your industry, leadership manuals, or CEO peers say you should. I want to help you do what works ... for YOU. If you want the same playbook everyone else is using, I’m not your person. I challenge norms, push for what actually works, and help you think differently. 4. You want to talk about problems more than you want to solve them. If you love endless discussions without action, we won’t get along. You can't steer a sitting ship. I’m all about identifying the real issue, making decisions, and moving forward. 5. You’d rather improve your weaknesses than build up your strengths. If you think success comes from fixing what you’re bad at instead of amplifying what you’re great at, we probably won’t align. I believe in playing to strengths, not just patching up weaknesses. 6. You struggle with direct feedback (or can't give it.) If honest, candid conversations make you uncomfortable, you won’t love working with me. I don’t sugarcoat, and I expect the same from you. 7. You want someone who will just validate what you already believe. I’m not a yes-person. I push back, ask hard questions, and challenge assumptions. If you’re looking for someone to rubber-stamp your ideas, I’m not it. Bottom line: If you’re looking for someone who will believe in you, create space for you but also push you, challenge you, and help you get better then we’ll probably work great together. If not… you might want to pass. |
"I've worked with Jenné for more than 20 years in multiple agencies. I first worked with her to gain much needed alignment at the C-suite level and have continued to rely on her to diagnose and pinpoint issues that are holding us back. She's able to get to the root drivers of issues and create step-by-step plans to address issues in a way that makes sense. Tandem Theory is experiencing rapid and exciting growth and with her input, advice, and much needed accountability, I've been able to do so in a way that protects and builds our culture vs tearing it apart."
“For over a decade, Jenne has worked with us on continual, impactful improvement. Most recently, her work with us has been focused on addressing roadblocks and enhancing our culture. This work has led to us being named one of Ad Age's Best Places to Work in 2024.
Whatever our current challenge, Jenne helps us define issues and bravely address what is holding us back. She provides clarity for our leadership team and is a critical part of our agency. Working with Jenne opens your eyes to your roadblocks and clears the way for success!”
"We'd grown without growing up. The lack of structure and process that empowered us as a small agency was limiting our continued success as a larger agency. I knew we needed to change, and I even knew generally what that change needed to look like. I also knew leading through that change would be one of the biggest challenges of my career. I was ready but overwhelmed. One conversation with Jenné and I knew I'd found the person with the process to help us get where we need to be. The clarity her process has brought to our situation has been empowering and exciting. More importantly, her empathetic grasp of how the team would process the change helped us maintain engagement and momentum throughout the process. "
"Simantel has always been deeply committed to creating an environment where people not only enjoy coming to work but also have ample opportunity for career growth. After meeting Jenne Fromm at an AMIN Worldwide conference, we asked her to lead us forward, leveraging her Connected Manager program. The philosophies she shared with our team aligned perfectly with how we wanted our leaders to 'show up'—fostering authentic, vulnerable, and real connections.
Jenne’s impact extended far beyond just leadership development. We’ve relied on her expertise for coaching individuals, teams, and executives, helping us step back from daily challenges to gain a broader perspective. She continues to be an invaluable resource, guiding us in defining essential hard and soft skills while addressing complex, real-world issues that don’t have simple solutions. And on top of being incredibly insightful, she’s also hilarious! Jenne is someone who has truly done the work herself, allowing her to help others do the same."
